Position: Early Years Practitioner, Full-Time
Salary: Up to GBP24,250 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)
Location: New Malden, Surrey
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Working at our Nursery
The nursery consists of two classes; one for children aged 2-3 and one for children aged 3-4. The experienced and fully qualified teachers and support staff are dedicated to the children at Westbury House, giving them the support they need to become skilful and confident members of the community. There is a positive attitude to learning throughout Westbury House, with an extensive curriculum and termly school trips. Children leave the Early Years stage with the skills required to excel in the next stage.
Capacity: 37 Places
Rooms: Little Learners (2 to 3 years), Preschool (3 to 4 years)
Opening Times: 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, 51 weeks per year
About the Role
Plan, create, and implement engaging activities for children aged 2 to 5 years.
Keep a record of children's progress and reflect on learning practices.
Communicate to develop and maintain strong parent/carer partnerships.
Maintain high standards for safety, cleanliness, and hygiene, as well as following all child protection and safeguarding guidelines.
Provide support to other nursery staff members and work collaboratively with them.
About You
Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential)
Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nursery Assistant or similar)
Enthusiasm for making learning fun and engaging for each child
Ability to use a variety of techniques to clearly and successfully communicate with both children and adults
Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the Early Years Framework.
