DV Cleared Product Designer / Outside IR35 / 6 Months

Contract Length: 6 months

Salary: 550 per day (outside IR35)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Designer with a proven track record and a minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience, to join one of our defence clients. The ideal candidate will be entrusted with significant responsibilities and must hold active Developed Vetting (DV) clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Engage with stakeholders to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet the needs and vision.

- Create user-centred designs by considering market analysis, customer feedback, and usability findings.

- Use business requirements and customer research to assist in developing scenarios, use cases, and high-level requirements.

- Design the aesthetics to be implemented within a product, from the layout menus and dropdown options to colours and fonts allowing for interface edits as needed.

- Enhance user experience by creating seamless navigation through various digital programs and interfaces within the company.

- Contribute to the product development process from concept to execution, ensuring a consistent and coherent user experience across all product touch-points.

Key Skills and Qualifications

- Active DV clearance is essential. Candidates without current DV clearance will not be considered due to the nature of the work.

- Engineering Collaboration:Experience working closely with engineering teams to ensure product feasibility and to incorporate technical constraints into design solutions.

- Innovative Design Thinking: Ability to apply design principles with innovation in mind to create products that are both functional and appealing to our clients.

- User-Centred Design: Strong capability in creating designs that focus on ease of use, accessibility, and user experience.
