Duchess bone china trinket dish / small plate commemorating the 1981 millennium of Linkinhorne village in Cornwall. The plate depicts St. Mellors Church, itself dating back to 1500 and named after St. Mellor, a son of the Duke of Cornwall said to have been martyred in 411AD.
Duchess Bone China was established in 1888 in Stoke-on-Trent as the Dresden Porcelain Company and is still going today, though it has changed hands and names on several occasions.
The plate is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.
