Hayley Group Limited are looking for a Driver to join our well-established and experienced team at Manchester but based on-site at Wigan.

About the role:

As our Driver, your role will be an integral part of the team on-site at Wigan, and you will be responsible for ensuring that deliveries arrive at customer sites in a timely and efficient manner.

Working hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, including 1 in 4 Saturday mornings at Manchester.

Responsibilities as our Driver will include:

Ensuring that all customer deliveries and collections are complete. Packing the goods in the delivery vehicle in an organised manner and ensuring products arrive in good condition. Using GPS navigation apps and knowledge of the area in planning the quickest and best route to ensure collections and deliveries are on schedule. Doing regular maintenance checks on delivery vans and informing management of any issues. Interacting with staff and clients in a friendly and professional manner. Unloading and loading packages and obtaining all necessary delivery paperwork and documentation. Ensuring stock items are put away in correct stores locations or handed to Hayley personnel as required. Assisting the on-site team with maintaining structured and clean storage areas. Skills & Attributes we're looking for in our Driver:

Full driving licence HGV not required. FLT licence is desirable, however not essential. Experience of working in a fast-paced environment would be advantageous. Good work ethic.
