Busy professional principals are looking for a live-in Domestic Couple for their beautiful country property near Oxford, Oxfordshire, OX20. One of you must have a full driving license for this role.

Package Offered

£80,000 - £100,000 gross per year for the couple depending on experience.

Family Background

The principals are keen to find a long-term and reliable domestic couple to look after their property. The property is surrounded by beautiful grounds. Multiple members of staff work in the property and you should be happy to work as part of a team.

Duties

As a domestic couple, you will be responsible for the housekeeping, general maintenance and gardening duties. The family are happy for you to split the duties according to your own strengths. You will also help to prepare the property for guests who visit.

As well as being happy to undertake all aspects of cleaning the house and keeping it tidy you will be responsible for laundry and ironing to include care of delicate fabrics. You will need to shop for food and supplies when required.

Occasional driving duties are required, including collecting and dropping off in the local area, airport runs and delivery of vehicles.

The successful candidates should have a hands-on approach and be skilled in housekeeping and gardening, DIY and maintenance tasks. You will be responsible for the security of the house.

Location/Accommodation

The property is located near Oxford, Oxfordshire, OX20. You will be provided accommodation on the grounds with all utilities covered.

Days/Hours

Your normal hours will be 40 hours each week per person.

Flexibility is expected, especially during holidays

You should be able to manage your own work schedule effectively.

Any overtime worked will be given back as time in lieu or paid in overtime

Special Skills

Between you, you should be confident with all aspects of housekeeping and gardening. You should have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to work cooperatively with the various contractors working on the estate. Enthusiasm for country living and high standards are essential. One of you must have a full driving license for this role.
