Description

We are currently recruiting for Document Reviewers to work within a Law enforcement organisation based near Charring Cross. Hybrid model, hours 36hrs Monday - Friday. Start asap (pending vetting) for 6 months, with a possible extension. 14.50ph.

Key Responsibilities

Undertake systematic review of documents to determine their relevance to offences under investigationContribute to the disclosure process in order to satisfy the obligations of the Criminal Procedure and Investigations Act 1996Create and maintain spreadsheets of data using ExcelConduct searches in the document review system and extract relevant documentsProof read and edit transcripts of interviewsAttend team meetings and provide updatesOperate flexibly to assist colleagues and Senior Managers as and when requiredIn the unlikely event of potentially Legal Professional Privilege material being discovered as part of their review, to be able to recognise such material and refer it as instructed.To demonstrate attention to detail. For example, be able to cross reference disparate documents on a document review system into a complete set and accurately describe large volumes of information in respect of an email review.Essential Criteria

Ability to read long documents and understand complex and technical informationAbility to analyse, summarise and categorise documents, extracting key informationExcellent attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including ExcelAbility to work in a team to strict deadlinesA degree obtained in England and Wales Desirable Criteria

Previous document review experiencePrevious experience using an eDiscovery Review PlatformKnowledge of the Disclosure process, and the relevant legislation (CPIA 1996)Criminal law experience and/or exposure to economic crime investigationsWhy work with Adecco:
