We are currently looking to recruit a Dispute Resolution Solicitor for our successful and well establsihed Legal client in Birmingham. The company specialises in property, family, wills, employment, and litigation and also provide a range of commercial services. As part of the litigation team, you ll require:

Proven experience working within a similar litigation roleHold relevant quallifcation such as a Qualified Solicitor or Legal ExecutiveA strong knowledge of Microsoft applications and web-based platforms Be able to demonstrate working with minimal supervision Due to the companies growth and expansion of new offices, the Dispute Resolution Solicitor will be expected to lead and have a proven track record of confidently and successfully appearing in Court on behalf of clients.

As a Dispute Resolution Solicitor, you ll also be:

Handling S.8 and S.21 Housing Act MattersLandlord and Tenant Act 1954 including forfeiture and reliefDealing with Dilapidations claims and Boundary disputesChallenge of Lease renewalsEnsure of Fast tack and multi-track legal proceedingsHandling of Shareholder or Director DisputesBe able to prepare and provide of advice notes for clientsReview of and preparation of noticesDrafting of Court pleadingsAttendance at Court hearings as required to include undertaking advocacyPreparation of any instructions to CounselDrafting of negotiation documentsBe compliant with meeting deadlinesAbility to run own files with minimal supervisionHold strong negotiation skillsBuilding strong relationships with current and potential clients to generate Business Development Salary & Working Hours
