Director, Strategy and Engagement
External candidates will receive GBP123,500 per annum. Existing civil servants appointed on promotion will receive a 10% uplift on current basic salary.

As Director, Strategy and Engagement, you will lead expert teams across strategy, governance, legal and communications through the review, refresh and implementation of Ofsted's strategic priorities.
You will work alongside our stakeholders in education and social care, listening carefully to their views, to shape the future of inspection and influence the way it impacts on the wellbeing, safety and learning of children, students and the staff with whom we engage.
As a member of Ofsted's Executive Board, you will also be taking a full corporate leadership role influencing our strategic direction, policy and practice and through this, impacting the lives of millions of children and learners.
