Music at Claremont is an important part of school life for all pupils, from the youngest 2.5-year-old in pre-nursery right through to those pupils choosing to study music at A Level.

In this new whole-school role, we are looking for an outstanding candidate with the vision to establish and evolve an ambitious programme of musical opportunities, inspiring pupils with all the opportunities a truly creative and musical school can give.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the profile, direction, and long-term planning of music at Claremont. The director of whole-school music will facilitate a whole-school approach to music provision and drive forward a diverse music programme which delivers a range of concerts and events, showcasing pupil learning and providing performance opportunities for all pupils at all stages of their musical journey.

The successful candidate will be an outstanding musician with strong leadership skills, creative vision and a proven record of results in examinations. They will have experience in developing, conducting, and directing music ensembles in an educational setting.
