We have a new opportunity for a Dimensional Surveyor to join our client based in Stockton-on-Tees in a full-time permanent or contract role, with an attractive salary and benefits package. You will be working for a Company with over 100 years experience providing fabrication and engineering services to multiple markets.

You will be:

Providing accurate 3D measurement to support the execution of complex engineering design and build projects Ensuring all surveying activities are undertaken safely and responsibly, and in accordance with the CDM Regulation Providing dimensional control during the erection of equipment Providing input for progress reporting on surveying activities within the erection area Reviewing any supplied setting out data to check design co-ordinates against the site grid system to ensure compatibility Providing quality checks on control set ups and point accuracy Reporting any issues, concerns, or observations to the MEH Alliance Surveying Lead Ensuring all surveying activities are executed in line with relevant specifications Providing accurate centreline and level datums to enable accurate installation of mechanical equipment, pipe supports and piping systems Conducting surveys on pipe spools to provide as fabricated data including bolt hole rotations and flange deflections Conducting as built surveys of installed equipment Undertaking periodic instrument calibration checks Attending any relevant site meetings with project stakeholders

Requirements:

Surveying or engineering qualifications, or suitable experience Experience in the use of survey equipment and the production of survey reports Conversant with all related legislation, codes, and standards Knowledge of CDM regulations Experience in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word Experience using FARO is desirable If you would like to be considered for the role of Dimensional Control Surveyor, please submit your CV or get in touch for further details.
