The College is undergoing a major project to transform its IT systems, and this is an opportunity to join the project at an important stage as we start the implementation phase of a new CRM system.
This post would suit a person currently working in a junior project management or support role who is experienced with managing delivery of projects with multiple stakeholders and meeting deadlines with suppliers.
The Digital Transformation Project Manager will have relevant experience in project management, ideally including IT or technology services change programmes or projects, they will also have Project Management accreditation at practitioner level (Prince 2, PMP, etc.), experience of significant IT/CRM/digital projects or business system transformation and preferably, experience of using agile methodologies.
You will have excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams as well as senior management and system suppliers.
Experience of working in non-profit or membership organisations would be desirable.
The College is a professional membership organisation dedicated to the advancement of the science and practice of pathology. There are currently approximately 12,000 members, all of whom are pathologists based in hospitals, universities and laboratories in the UK and overseas. The College's main tasks are to set and maintain training standards for doctors and scientists, to advice on the appointment of consultant pathologists, to ensure the membership is kept up to date with current practice through the continuing professional development scheme, and to promote the latest developments in pathology by holding scientific meetings.
