Salary: GBP40-48,000 + benefits + career opportunities
An opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Marketing Manager to manage an exciting parts of our Client's global portfolio of branded offerings

The role:
Develop and execute a plan of commercial strategies to drive sales and profit growth. Developing these proposals gaining sign off through monthly commercial forum.
Monitor and analyse sales performance, market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for business growth and improvement.
Work cross functionally to develop and implement effective marketing campaigns, promotions and branding initiatives to attract new customers and enhance customer experience. Preparing briefs to drive the NPD and creative services processes (POS) with a real focus on driving their digital agenda
Project management of new innovation to launch
Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor activity as well as regular visits to the units to gain customer perspective and operational feedback
Input into pricing strategies, menu/range development to maximise sales, profitability and customer satisfaction.
New store openings - manage the commercial set up for new openings including range, pricing, POS. Deliver action plans to drive sales and profit if business cases are not delivering to target
Effective management of Commercial Executives who will support in implementing commercial plans
The role:
Degree educated or equivalent
Strong progressive digital marketing management experience gained in a Retail, FMCG or Hospitality environment
Must be able to work in the UK with regular travel across the UK
Proven experience in a similar commercial/brand management role within the restaurant/ food to go/ food retail industry
Strong business acumen and understanding of sales drivers
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external contacts
Experience of using price, range, display and space, upselling, margin and category optimisation to deliver commercial results
Ability to drive decision-making through analysis and based on evidence, rather than intuition
Experience of drawing out business insights from analysis and presenting findings and recommendations persuasively
Experience of managing key client contacts
Good understanding of the impact of external factors on growth, including competition and seasonality
Good understanding of the operational reality in units i.e. a good understanding of waste management and minimisation, labour planning and optimisation, equipment, space and layout etc.
