We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Building Manager to lead a flagship Development in central London. As the Building Manager, you will be responsible for building a vibrant community that fosters a lifestyle-led mindset and approach. You will be accountable for creating and maintaining relationships with the team, businesses, residents, and guests, and ensuring their needs are met.
Responsibilities:
Inspire and lead the building community to achieve a lifestyle-led mindset and approach Be solution-focused and provide support to the team, residents, and clients Build relationships to create a sense of community among residents and the team Identify the community's priorities and challenges and be proactive in finding ways to support them Meet regularly with resident representatives, community team members, and the wider management team members Manage the community team and provide overall HR responsibility Oversee the day-to-day running and upkeep of the building and operational interactions Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, quality, and best practice guidelines Carry out site inspections and ensure high standards are maintained Proactively identify and formulate new concepts and ways to improve the service Manage the aftercare and defects management programme, reporting to the management team and client Play a key role in building mobilisation, including creating SOPs, welcome packs, and appointing the team Support onboarding and site familiarisation for third-party service partners Experience and Qualifications:
5 or more years of experience in managing complex multi-use, residential-led developments in a management role Proven ability to manage PPM contracts and warranties for complex MEPH systems Previous training and abilities for complaint handling and conflict management 3 years of managing a customer-focused team 3 or more years of experience in Health & Safety reporting and checks IT skills including MS-Office packages (Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) GDPR training and understanding Grade C or equivalent in English and Math NEBOSH or IOSH certified (preferred) IWFM or RICS Associate (preferred) Customer experience training If you are a self-starter with excellent communication and leadership skills, and you have a passion for creating and maintaining a vibrant lifestyle community, we would like to hear from you.
