Here's what you need to know about the role:
Within the role you will be there to support and guide vulnerable detainees who are seeking asylum, whilst the Home Office conduct their initial immigration screening checks, working in an environment that provides an Empathetic trauma-informed security service. You will also be responsible for the individuals whilst they are being interviewed.
Direct experience is not necessary (as full training is provided) They are looking for individuals who want to join their mission in empowering people to make positive life choices and help to transform their lives.
The Responsibilities within this role include, but are not limited to:
Working with our operational team to create a safe, secure and friendly environment where detainees can access support and servicesBuild strong relationships with detainees to ensure they feel supported, guided in the right direction and understood whilst in our careEnsure that all detainees are able to communicate with our partners and receive help and support; whether this be medical, welfare, faith or cultural provisions they requireOperate regular transfer to allow for the Home Office processing of asylum and immigration claims Some of the skills and experience they will be looking for: (in-line with their core values)

These roles are permanent, full-time positions. (the site operates 24/7, so shifts cover all operational hours)
Your working hours will be 40 per week with a varied shift pattern on a rolling basis.
The shifts will be as follows:Early shift: 07:30 to 16:00Late shift: 14:00 to 22:30A shift: 08:00 to 22:00M shift: 08:00 to 20:30Nights: 20:00 to 08:00 (7 nights on, 7 days/nights off - approx. every 8 weeks)
