We are offering an exciting opportunity to lead and inspire an award-winning team as the Destination Management and Marketing Manager in Swansea, one of Wales' premier holiday destinations and which is undergoing an exciting programme of urban regeneration with tourism and leisure opportunities at the heart of it.
With its vibrant city scene and significant and picturesque destinations like Mumbles, and the renowned Gower Peninsula - the UK’s first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Swansea offers an unrivalled and contemporary mix of culture, coast and exciting plans for the future, with numerous development projects underpinning the potential for greater sustainable growth.
As the Destination Management & Marketing Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the destination's growth through focussed investment and co-ordinated innovative marketing campaigns, which will continue to enhance its appeal for holidays, day visits and major events.
We are seeking an experienced strategic thinker and influencer at a variety of levels, with a professional and proven track record, whilst showcasing your ability to lead a diverse team. A thorough knowledge of how tourism marketing and development works in Wales will help you influence and drive the Destination Management Plan for Swansea over the coming years.
A passion for creative and innovative thinking, we're seeking someone with a keen eye and commitment to continuous improvement - not only for service delivery but someone who also strives for a better, more sustainable destination.
Could you see yourself being able play a key role in our current and planned transformation and help position Swansea as an even more captivating destination for visitors across the UK and internationally, and help to lead and shape the future of the sector at this really exciting time? If so, we look forward to receiving your application.
