Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we have an excellent new opportunity for a passionate Design Manager to join our client on a long-term contract basis in East London. As the selected candidate, you will be required to operate flexibly by having a mixed office and site-based presence. This is a brilliant opportunity to work on a range of exciting Data Centre and Commercial projects.

Our client is a UK market-leader in providing expertise based in Engineering Services, as well as the design, installation, integration, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical technologies. They operate across a variety of sectors, including, but not limited to, Building Services, Engineering Services, Infrastructure, and Facilities Management.

Key responsibilities:

Provide technical design guidance and review the multi-disciplinary elements of the design, including supporting safely functional requirementsActively contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of design processes and standardsLead, manage and co-ordinate designs to ensure alignment of outputProvide technical supportManage designer performance and make appropriate technical management decisionsPlan for effective project implementation, identify key factors, and lead technical planning processes

Key requirements:
