Our Global client is currently searching for a Design Lead to join their team on a permanent basis. The ideal Design Lead will have a well-rounded knowledge of design as well as a great variety of experiences not just within product design. A successful Design Lead will be able to handle all projects from start to finish alongside the support of a more junior member of the team.

Responsibilities:

You will be able to create appropriate mock-ups for customer and client presentations. The Design Lead will be in-charge of new product development, from market review to design through to ordering of samples. You will be planning and arranging catalogues, following, and implementing style guidelines correctly. The catalogues will include initial designs, art working and formatting, working with templates and style sheets. As well as product design you will be proficient in Image photography and the re-touching of imagery. As a Design lead you will be able to maintain the showroom alongside creating and policing Company and Brand Guidelines. Create POS for Marketing, sales and clients alongside designing branded packaging. The Design lead will aid with the planning of trade shows and the creation of visuals and props.

Skills required:

The ideal Design lead will have a minimum of 2 years working within a design studio environment. Previous photography experience and examples. Great understanding of Adobe Creative Suite. A great personality and enthusiasm for design. The Lead designer will have great communication skills and able to meet deadlines. Amazing attention to detail and able to manage multiple projects at once.
