If so, my client specialises in cutting edge home-automation solutions If so and are looking for a talented and experienced Design and Estimating Manager to join their dynamic team.

Key responsibilities:

" Create file path/structure from template, download and save all tender information (or request from client if not received). Request any outstanding initial documentation required.

" Take charge of tenders and estimating, run through received tender packages (such as scope of works and drawings) and gather prices from suppliers to create a bid proposal

" Engage in teams meetings with clients

" Timely issuance of drawings/design work

" Ensure that drawings are created for projects on AutoCAD

" Engage with clients regarding variations and make sure that site instructions are quoted and agreed

Skills:

" Competent with CAD programs such as AutoCAD

" Ability to develop & design ELV/ITC/Data & Comms/Security/AV systems to a high degree of accuracy. Focusing on cost, safety, reliability, quality, compliance, and sustainability

" Ability to be flexible/adaptable to quickly changing demands/tasks

" Maintain a good rapport/working relationship with suppliers

" Good written communication skills, spelling & grammar and a confident verbal communicator
