Description

Design and develop innovative product concepts within the industrial/manufacturing industry.Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility.Prepare and present design proposals to stakeholders.Evaluate and enhance existing designs for improved functionality and efficiency.Oversee the prototyping process and adjust designs as needed.Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and regulations.Maintain clear and thorough documentation of all design activities.Work closely with the manufacturing team in Royton to facilitate smooth production processes. A successful Design Engineer should have:

A degree in Engineering or a related discipline.Experience in Nuclear/submarine/aerospace welcomed Proficiency in using Solid Edge & 3D Modelling software or equivalent CAD knowledge.A strong understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial design principles.Experience in stress testing and calculation. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a creative approach to design.The ability to work effectively in a team and communicate design ideas clearly.A commitment to continuous learning and skill development.
