Position: Design Engineer

Salary: GBP35,000 to GBP52,000 + Benefits / Prospects

The Company: Our Client is an innovative leading developer of factory solutions for the global food industry. They design, manufacture and install bespoke manufacturing solutions globally.

Due to sustained continued expansion they now require a Design Engineer to Create 3D parts and assemblies in SolidWorks as per design brief and/or Handover drawing. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Create full manufacturing drawing packs, to include drawings, BOMs, laser profiles, Works Orders and any other files to enable internal or Participate in reviews of other Design Team member s work Customer liaison for design review & approval Work with Project Engineers to ensure all design requirements are in place to achieve timelines to ensure successful project execution The Person: Candidates suitable for consideration should be able to provide evidence of the following:

HNC / Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar) or be a Time-Served Engineer with relevant experience. Experience working with CAD systems (ideally - SolidWorks) A good understanding of modern manufacturing processes, materials and design for manufacture (DfM, DfA, DFMEA,) Experience of working within the Food Industry preferred but not essential. The successful candidate will enjoy a salary of between GBP35,000 to GBP52,000 (DOE) + Benefits / Prospects, an employment package that you would expect from a company that values its employees.
