Dermatology Nurse
Ackerman Pierce are looking for a Dermatology Nurse to work with one of our clients in Oldham.
The Nurse would be expected to work every Tuesday & Thursday 8am - 4pm with 30 min unpaid break. Providing care patients within the skin cancer service, diagnosing actual and potential skin cancers, and reviewing patients following diagnosis with skin cancer, inform the patients of their diagnosis, and support and monitor the patient group throughout their journey on to oncology and plastic surgery centres.
Salary: 40/h
Your Duties and Responsibilities a Dermatology Nurse :
Tuesday - 8-4 - Skin Cancer Follow Up Clinic - Reviewing patients who have been diagnosed with skin cancer, to monitor and check for any reoccurrence - 20-minute appointments Alternate
Thursdays - 8-4 - Week 1 - Skin cancer counselling clinic - Informing patients of the diagnosis of skin cancer, counselling them through and informing them of the next steps throughout their journey within the trusts. - 30-minute appointments
Week 2- Skin Cancer Follow Up Clinic - Reviewing patients who have been diagnosed with skin cancer, to monitor and check for any reoccurrence - 20-minute appointments
