The Deputy Project Accountant is a key hirer to ensure the continued growth and success of the organisation

Main responsibilities will include

Deputise for the Project Accountant and assist in the smooth running of the Project Accounting team.Develop complex spreadsheet solutions to analyse and interpret the data required.Act as a source of expert advice providing senior managers with specific financial guidance and information. Deal with complex queries and problems ensuring these are handled promptly and effectively.Work closely with senior Financial management to develop and improve the service to our customers and colleagues. Be an enabler for Financial Services to add value to the business. A driving force for the identification of complex issues, providing innovative solutions and efficiency improvements.Develop and improve processes and supporting systems using a range of database techniques, Business Intelligence (BI) software and through contact with other areas of the business.Develop and maintain complex database models for both financial and customer related information and creating customised reports for management.Evaluate business proposals, including analysis of the economic impact on the business.

You will need to demonstrate your accounting qualifications along with significant experience of performing complex financial modelling and analysis. You will be able to provide examples of experience in all accounting areas and how they interact in a complex environment
