Deputy Chief Information Security Officer

Salary: GBP80,000 - GBP100,000

As the Deputy Chief Information Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and developing the security programme with proactive management of strategic and operational risks.

About the role

You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive security risk management strategy for the organisation. This includes managing risk, assessing vulnerabilities, and identifying security controls and processes.

Management of security risk to ensure incidents do not arise which would be a threat as an organisation. Ensuring effective delivery of the ISMS and BCMS programme from educating decision makers on compliance and best practice.

About you

The successful candidate will have an in-depth understanding of information security principles and practices, Governance, Risk Management, Auditing and Awareness Training.

You should also have a strong technical background, Business Continuity, Environmental Factors, Crisis Management and Resilience planning.

With experience in senior Security roles, including a minimum of 5 year's experience in a senior governance or risk management role, requires active CISSP or CISM certification or above.

The ideal candidate will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as they will be responsible for engaging with stakeholders throughout the organisation.
