Cast UK is supporting our client who is an established yet growing business who specialise in the manufacture and distribution of components. You will work as part of a Planning team responsible for all aspects of product & service planning, ensuring customers needs are met through delivering products on time.
The role is Monday to Friday with office hours either 8:30am - 5pm or 9am - 5:30pm.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for all aspects of demand planning, ensuring products are delivered on timeCreating forecasts for suppliers using MRP system, liaising with the commercial team to ensure forecasts are accurateReview product range and identifying any peaks or lulls in demand, providing accurate feedback to the stakeholdersInventory management - optimising stock levels to ensure balance between overstocking and stock outs for product rangeDefine parameters for product management at set ERP including BOM's, MOQ's, Customs tariff codes etcFollow allocation of materials on orders to ensure information is passed to Purchasing team to execute Key Skills
Experienced demand planner, ideally with experience of working with long lead times (6 Months +)A background working in a manufacturing environment would be advantageousStrong IT skills, ideally with experience of using SAPManaging MPS/ MRP processes within ERP systemProactive midset, looking to identify opportunities to improve current processes Benefits
