Description

Leading the forecasting process within the Procurement & Supply Chain department.Working closely with sales and marketing teams to understand demand forecast drivers.Ensuring availability of stock to meet customer demand while minimising inventory costs.Identifying and implementing process improvements within the demand planning function.Providing accurate and timely feedback to stakeholders on forecast accuracy and inventory levels.Developing and executing product phase in/out plans.Managing risks associated with inventory and demand forecasting.Engaging in cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment of forecasts with business goals. A successful Demand Manager should have:

A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Experience in demand planning and forecasting within the FMCG industry.Strong analytical abilities and proficiency in statistical analysis.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A proactive approach to problem-solving.Knowledge of demand management/forecasting tools, software and methodologies.Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
