An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Third-Party Defence Claims Handler to join our growing team. In our defence team you will be responsible for managing your own caseload of third-party motor claims from notification to settlement. You will economically look to settle claims on best possible terms and avoid any unnecessary litigation.

On behalf of our self-insured and insurer clients you will be responsible for undertaking liability investigations, repair management, credit hire negotiations and personal injury (OIC/MOJ) claims handing. Experience in all these areas would be an advantage but not essential as training can be provided to support your progression and development into these areas.

Salary- From GBP20,961.49 to GBP22,897.29 for those with limited/no motor insurance claims experience, or GBP23,816.32 - GBP26,788.47 for those with relatable motor claims experience. Plus a competitive bonus scheme on top of your basic salary, up to GBP2600! (paid quarterly)

Annual leave- 24 days, rising to 26 with length of service. Of course, you'll have public holidays too and we'll even help you celebrate with an extra day off for your birthday!

The successful candidate will be:

Highly conscientious and self-motivated.Have strong questioning and negotiation skills.Responsible and take ownership of your own workload and can prioritise efficiently.Ambitious in wanting to learn and develop their knowledge of third-party motor claims and fleet management.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Experienced in third-party motor claims handling.Able to provide a first-class service to our clients and will help build and develop relationships.
