Role Details
Regent's has several dashboards that track different aspects of the student journey, from application to alumni, utilizing data from various databases in a Data Warehouse. Due to a change in our curriculum model from termly to yearly, we are taking the initiative to revamp our data model and strategy by transitioning to a Data Lake.
We are seeking a Dashboard Developer to play a pivotal role in how we display complex data in an intuitive, easy to view and use dashboards. Key responsibilities will include translating user requirements into dynamic and user-friendly dashboard solutions. You'll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and prepare visually appealing representations of data that facilitate actionable insights. Furthermore, you will play a pivotal role in envisioning how these upgraded dashboards can leverage the capabilities of the Data Lake, maximizing data accessibility and relevance.
This transition presents an opportunity to not only reshape the way data is stored and managed but also to reassess the current set of dashboards. We want to align these dashboards with the university's strategic objectives and enhance our ability to support the overall goals of the institution by using a more comprehensive dataset.
