Tiled dining table from the 1970s. Length without extension leaves: 1m50, each leaf is 56cm, width 88cm. The leaves are attached with hinges at each end and can be removed. Fully extended it seats 12 easily, and we have, at Christmas, had 14 around it.
The decoration on the tiles depicts the Golden Horns ( famous Danish prehistoric artefacts) and the runes translate as 'I Laegaest son of Holt made the horn'. The tiles themselves are useful for putting hot serving dishes on.
The table is in good condition, with the odd little mark, not surprising considering it has been a family dining table for 50 years.
The chairs have been recovered in 3 different fabrics, 2 chairs per fabric.
