We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Advisor to join our team on a permanent contract. We will offer you a competitive salary of GBP24,937 per annum.
Hours: 35 hours per week Monday to Friday - (may include 1-2 evening shifts per week)
Base Location: Scout Store Lancing, West Sussex

The Customer Service Advisor Role:
The team is still relatively new but has a great blend of Customer Service and industry experience. We put the customer at the heart of everything we do, with the team having real license to go above and beyond.
No two days the same, customer interaction, working alongside other departments within organisation.
The successful candidate will be joining a talented team during a very exciting period of growth for the business. There will be lots of opportunity for personal development, whilst delivering an amazing service to our customers.
Key responsibilities as our Customer Service Advisor:
Email, telephone and live chat support to help troubleshoot all customer queries Social media responses and messaging Complaints handling Monitoring, investigating and responding to customer reviews Complaint and feedback escalation Providing evening support 1-2 times per week Order admin Occasionally assisting other departments What we are looking for in our Customer Service Advisor:
We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, who can adapt to different and challenging scenarios, whilst living and acting within the core values of Scouting.
Being able to work successfully as a part of a part but also take the initiative to handle situations independently, where possible/appropriate. Strong retail commercial background within customer services demonstrable evidence of proven results Understand and apply customer services/sales solutions to support implementation of business plans and strategies Good telephone manner, including clear speech, the ability to understand people with speech impediments and unusual accents, and excellent manners Persuasiveness, with the ability to soothe unhappy customers and to persuade them to retain services or make further purchase What we can offer you as our Customer Service Advisor:
