Head office, Newbury

Hours: 35 Hrs Monday –Friday 09:00 am 05:00 pm

Salary: GBP21,869

Introduction

What will you be doing?

The main focus of the department is to support customers with mortgage accounts from their account opening to their account closure. This includes tasks such as:

Handling customer queries about their account, both by email and over the telephoneChecking mortgages are ready to complete and sending out funds to solicitors for purchases and re–mortgagesEnsuring our security is protected at Land Registry, using their portal and liaising with solicitorsEnsuring accounts are redeemed in full and administrating the mortgage account closure processProcessing overpayments to mortgage accounts and making changes to the account in accordance with customer instructions Why work for us?

Some experience of working with internal and/or external customers to ensure the highest quality service experience.Evidence of excellent written and verbal communication skills Desirable skills and experience

Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook and Office365Experience in financial service administration Please do note that this role is office based and so you must be able to commute in to central Newbury on a daily basis.
