Customer Service Administrator - Peterborough - GBP21-22k

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Peterborough

Hours: 7.30am - 4.00pm - Monday to Friday (1 hour break)

Are you a diligent, customer focused administrator with experience in the equipment hire industry?

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join a team as a standpipe hire administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their equipment rental needs, coordinating delivery and pickup of standpipe equipment, and providing exceptional customer service with great attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Answering incoming calls and emails from customers, and assisting with inquiries related to equipment rental, availability, and pricingProcessing rental orders, creating rental agreements, and scheduling equipment deliveries and pickupsCoordinating with drivers and dispatch to ensure timely delivery and pickup of equipment.Ensuring accurate and timely invoicing of customers and processing of paymentsMaintaining accurate records of rental equipment inventory, including tracking equipment status, repairs, and maintenance needsCollaborating with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and increase revenue Essential requirements:

A-C GCSE Maths and English or equivalent is required; Additional business admin qualifications or degree in business administration is a plus1-2 years of experience in customer service or equipment rental industry preferred, but not required.Strong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent organisational skills and attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectivelyProficient in Microsoft Office and experience with rental software is a plusValid driver's license and reliable transportation Features and benefits:
