About the role
Our operation runs constantly so we need you to be super flexible. Our shifts run 7 days a week, including bank holidays. The shifts are 12 hours long and are a 4 ON, 4 OFF pattern. This consists of 2 shifts of days, 2 shifts of nights, then 4 days off.
You will be responsible for:
Supporting the Export and Import processes, including booking processing, vessel planning and manifest requirements in inventory systemAssisting customers with daily queries, including manifest amendments to ensure swift customs clearance for our customers.Communicating with necessary stakeholders, including driver, in both the Port of Felixstowe and DFDS Immingham terminalProviding support in relation to Vessel matters Safeguarding and enhancing the service level offered by DFDS and surpassing our client expectations. About you
If you have a gregarious nature, but enjoy working as part of a team, willing to take responsibility and make informed decisions, then please get in touch with us. Ideally you will have previous experience of working in a customer facing role, with the ability to multitask as you'll be working in the heart of logistics processing all bookings and handling customer enquiries efficiently. Good computer skills and ideally a knowledge of Destin8 is desirable.
