Anglian Water offers a flexible approach, this role provides you with hybrid working, with an average of 2-3 days a week in the office as required.

We're looking for someone who can translate operational terminology into customer-facing, engaging, timely and informative communications. The role will see you creating comms for both routine and reactive operational journeys - from emails, letters, printed material and website copy. To be successful in the role, you'll be passionate about delivering an excellent customer experience from start to finish.

Keeping the customer at the heart of everything you do, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the customer experience through effective communication. You'll focus on maintaining and improving existing communications within customer journeys, making sure we deliver consistent, positive and reassuring interactions. You'll collaborate closely with our operational and customer teams, using our tone of voice, relevant insights & customer feedback to deliver communications that meet both customer and business needs.

What you'll be doing: Creation and Delivery of Customer Communications:

- Make sure customers get the right message at the right time.

- Copywrite messages across multiple customer journeys, collaborating with our internal creative studio and brand team.

- Deliver timely, high-quality comms within budget and plan.

- Make sure we deliver consistent messaging across our various customer journeys.

Relationship Management:

- Develop strong relationships with the rest of the Brand and Marketing team, as well as key customer teams and operational stakeholders.

- Support the creation and delivery of integrated communications across multiple channels.

- Collaborate with operational stakeholders to help develop, prioritise, and create customer journeys aligned with triggers and processes.

- Enhance operational customer interactions to deliver wow moments and positive customer perceptions of our brand.

Process and Documentation:

- Support the deployment of comms journeys across multiple channels.

- Pull together coherent briefing materials so that our colleagues understand what comms they have available to them.

- Review the effectiveness of our customer comms with operational and other stakeholders.

What does it take to be successful? - In-depth experience of delivering effective customer communications

- Proven experience of successful stakeholder management

- A resilient and flexible nature

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

- Ability to deliver creative content

- Ability to quickly get to grips with how a complex organisation works

- Understanding and experience of coordinated and targeted communications

- Ability to forge effective working relationships with stakeholders across a variety of business units

- Excellent attention to detail and planning skills
