Customer Care Manager
Overview:
Our client is a well–known, diverse destination management and travel company with offices in the UK and Ireland. They are looking for a Customer Care Manager to take point of their Guaranteed Departures Department. The ideal candidate will be fluent in German and comfortable working with clients in a partnership approach.
Benefits and pay range:

Lead the migration of the departments portfolio into in–house softwareProvide account handling/customer services function; communicating with clients, developing relationships with guidesManage staff assigned to the area; including rostering/annual leave and workloadsUsing Tourplan to develop proposals, generate client and supplier communication to facilitate smooth accounting processesClient visits and trade shows as necessaryPeriodic out of hours emergency phone coverage Cover support in other groups and department if the need arisesSupport with the supervision of any staff/trainees assigned to the area Requirements and Qualifications:
Fluency in German and EnglishA good knowledge of the UK–wide tourism industry productsEnthusiastic team playerWorking experience with groups or at DMC an advantageKnowledge of Tourplan/experience in destination management is an advantage
