A hand built Explorer guitar made from solid mahogany with an ebony fret board
(Made from original Gibson plans)
Black fittings and stained darker to give a rich satin finish
As can be seen in the pictures the grain shows through well.
This guitar has been made over the past 2 years, I have many photos showing the stages which makes this project unique.
The fret board has a 9 and half inch radius and the neck is slightly thicker than the original design but in my view feels nicer (you would need to try it I suppose)
2 way truss rod
Good quality humbuckers supplied from Northwest Guitars as well as the tuners and bridge/tune-o-matic.
Wiring cavities all copper lined and bridge earthed.
This guitar plays well and has a real solid/chunky sound, great for heavy rock riffs.
Obviously this is hand built so will have oddities but you will be the only person on this planet with this unique guitar.
