Qvis Lighting & Security have an exciting opportunity for a Credit Controller to join their team.

Location: Havant, Hampshire

Salary: Competitive + Benefits

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Hours: Full time, (Monday to Friday: 9.00 to 5.30pm)

Credit Controller This Role:

We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our busy accounts team. As a Credit Controller you will be responsible in managing a portfolio of clients and ensuring that customer accounts are kept in line with their credit limits. Our Credit Controllers are key to supporting the financial function of the business, which requires the building and maintaining of strong relationships with clients to ensure the smooth running of their accounts.

Credit Controller Key Responsibilities:

- Ownership for a portfolio of customer accounts

- Maintain a personal allocated ledger of accounts

- Reconciling accounts and posting cash

- Collection of overdue accounts by all available methods

- Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity on SAP Business One

- Deal with client and internal enquiries

- Manage account queries to resolution

- Answer customer queries in a timely manner

- Handle disputed invoices and bring payments within agreed terms

- Ensure monthly processing deadlines are met

- Develop a strong working knowledge of your customer base to allow for effective collection

- Establish and maintain strong working relationships both internal and external

- Engage and manage the process of debts

- Identify problem debts that require escalation

- Creating age-debt reports

- Setting up new customers and performing credit checks

- Updating accounts and CRM systems

- Monitoring of credit reports

Credit Controller You:

- Credit Control experience

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a confident telephone manner

- Strong analytical, comprehension and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and enjoy working within a team environment

- Strong IT and system skills

- Good organisational skills, able to adhere to deadlines
