Duties & Responsibilities of the Credit Controller:

Contact clients / internal contacts for collecting debts of the company Work alongside the debt collection agency when debts become overdueEnsuring appropriate prioritisation techniques & timely follow up on all outstanding debtsFull ownership of your assigned portfolio, driving resolutions and escalationsTraveling to other locations when requiredDriving cash flow & targets by strong portfolio management & relationship buildingEngaging key stakeholders & continuously drive credit control strategy by building relationshipsUsing imagination & clear-thinking techniques to improve processes & deliver excellent serviceDriving recommendations of referral for further action when full collections techniques are exhausted to recover bad debts Skills & Experience:

Demonstrable Credit Control experience in a corporate environmentExcellent interpersonal & team work skills cultivating long term relationships at all levels of own & customer s organisationAbility to work under pressure in a fast paced dynamic environment demonstrating success at reducing aged debts & improving metricsStrong time management & demonstrate experience in meeting deadlines & targetsDesire for personal & professional developmentProficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook This is a full time role, working 9am - 5pm, Salary up to GBP28k per annum depending on experience
