The Role
We are delighted to be working with our client in their search for a Credit Controller / Accounts Assistant to join their team. Working in a team of 3, the Credit Controller / Accounts Assistant will be implementing and managing all credit control processes for the business, from invoice generation to ensuring collection of monies from customers within trading terms. You will also undertake some general finance-related tasks.
Ensuring invoicing is up to date and timely to customersEnsuring incoming sales ledger payments are up to date to enable accurate debtor reportingAction credit control procedures to ensure debtor days are as low as possibleSend statements and reminders to customersBuilding relationships with customers to ensure prompt paymentCalling overdue customers to establish reasons for late/non paymentsliaising with debt collection agency when necessaryDealing with customer invoice queries.Bank reconciliationsProcessing of supplier invoicesSupplier statement reconciliations
Requirements
The successful Credit Controller / Accounts Assistant will be experienced and comfortable undertaking a role that is 80% credit control focused. You will have excellent communication skills and enjoy building relationships with customers. You will enjoy following processes. Some exposure to Sage and OrderWise would be beneficial, but training will be given.
