A well-recognised Top 100 law firm are looking to recruit an ambitious Corporate lawyer to join their team in their Southampton office. They are a full serviced firm with multiple offices across the country including London and Surrey and have 250 specialist lawyers across all offices. You will be handling all aspects of corporate law matters working with a wide range of clients including public and private UK and International companies and their owners in relation to M&A, private equity and ECM and general corporate structuring work.

To be successful in this role you will:

Be a qualified solicitor or legal executive with a solid foundation in mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance.Be commercially astute and pragmatic with the ability to focus on your clients' needs to provide practical and robust advice.Have a good understanding of the corporate market, its challenges and opportunities.A sense of initiative and enthusiasm.Able to work well within a team and provide support to other fee-earners as appropriate.Confidence and ability to communicate to a high standard.Competent IT skills.
