Description

Our client is an International engineering firm who are looking to recruit a Contracts Administrator to join their Commercial team.

Assistant Contract Manager

Applications are invited for the temporary position of Assistant Contract Manager. Based in Manchester, the successful candidate will report to the Contracts Manager.

This is a temporary position for approximately 15 months, thereafter subject to review reflective of business requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities

Order management and administration of company MRP system.

Ensuring customer s schedule is submitted and kept up to date.

Log business leads and opportunities within the business pipeline .

Log and issue repeat orders into the business system.

Log and time manage enquiries through to bid process.

Support the creation of bids including cost analysis and comparative data.

Assist Contracts Manager in the production and maintenance of key contract documentation as requested.

Work alongside the relevant departments to ensure contractual delivery dates are met.

Attending meetings to support the management of contractual performance levels.

Support the compiling of key business and Customer KPI s reflecting the business performance.

Undertake health checks on contracts ensuring documentations is completed and governance requirements met.

Maintain department procedures and support the creation of procedures for all new tasks.

Assist Contract Managers in the production of month end reports to senior management.

Escalate any issues that effect delivery to the Contract Manager.

Ensure products and services are costed in a timely manner to allow prompt invoicing. Competencies, Skills & Experience

Experience in Commercial/ Project role preferred. Be able to cope with a number of tasks in a busy office environment.Proficient with IT Skills (Microsoft Office Software).

Capable of understanding data/ statistics and identifying and advising where problems occur.Professional and focused attitude.Team worker. Display commercial awareness.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written.

Strong listening skills, able to probe for additional information. To apply please forward your cv in word format.
