Consultant Agronomist
East Anglia
Competitive salary DOE + annual bonus + company car
Tedious sales getting you down?
Ready to work for an independent agronomy company who prides themselves on a personal approach?
Got plenty of agricultural knowledge to share?
The opportunity
Variety really is the spice of life! Working with a diversity of crops and completing a range of jobs, no day will be boring. This role will allow you to apply your agronomy knowledge in the field.
If you're tired of selling chemicals to farmers and want something more enriching and fulfilling, then this could be your next role.
Supporting farms from planning, organising seeds and land, auditing to crop production. You get the autonomy to plan your own schedule, and make sure you're giving the best independent advice to farmers.
Supported by experienced colleagues, you will become one of the team who will show you the ropes and give you the knowledge you need for success.
The business
They're an independent business, with their clients' best interest at heart. But don't worry, they're owned by a bigger organisation who give them lots of autonomy but are looking after them, giving you plenty of job security.
They know their stuff and pride themselves on looking after their clients and delivering high quality advice.
You
You're already using your BASIS and FACTS to consult farmers in their farming practice.
You'll be the kind of person who has a positive attitude to learning the ropes and can be relied upon.
Experience in agronomy or farm management would be most suitable but if you've done some hands-on farm consultancy you too may have the right knowledge for this role.
