Job Title: Component Engineer

Pay Rate: Up to 50/hr - INSIDE IR35

In this role, you'll be a vital part of the component engineering department, providing crucial support not only to our engineering group but to the entire business. Your focus will be on delivering a comprehensive obsolescence service, meeting processing targets, and strategizing work packages to enhance internal customer delivery.

Key Responsibilities of a Component Engineer:

Processing reactive component obsolescence notificationsPrioritise and monitor obsolescence requestsProcessing component data (based on Life cycle status, Export Control and REACH/RoHS compliance)Commodity support for Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical or Material componentsDevelop continuous improvement activities and utilise industry standard methodsSkills, Qualifications and Experience needed:

Knowledge and experience of components and partsEngineering Degree or relevant experienceProficient in MS Office tools, Outlook, Excel, WordHigh concern for order and qualityAble to deal with multiple issues, tasks and priorities concurrentlyStrong communication skills to facilitate communications with key stakeholdersThis really is a fantastic opportunity for a Component Engineer to progress their career.
