Job Title: Compliance Assistant

Salary: GBP28,000 - GBP30,000 per annum
Compliance Assistant required to join a vehicle retailer in Essex, this is a brilliant opportunity for a dynamic and driven individual to join a growing company.
As a Compliance Assistant you will be motivated and experienced, with some knowledge of Compliance and or the FCA regulations. You will report directly to the Group Compliance Manager. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that the organisation remains compliant with all relevant regulations, with a specific focus on Compliance, FCA requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Compliance Oversight: - Support the Group Compliance Manager in monitoring and enforcing compliance policies and procedures across the organisation.
GDPR and Data Protection: - Maintain a comprehensive understanding of GDPR regulations and ensure that the organisation's data protection practices align with legal requirements. Collaborate with various departments with the group to implement and monitor data protection measures.
FCA Regulation and Requirements: -Develop a strong understanding of FCA regulations and requirements for the automotive industry. Ensure that the business operations align with FCA standards, and promptly adapt to any changes in regulatory requirements.
Reporting and Documentation: - Prepare and maintain compliance reports for internal and external stakeholders. Assist in the documentation of compliance processes, audits, and assessments. Foster a culture of compliance awareness throughout the organization.
Adaptability and Change Management: - Demonstrate the ability to adapt to changes in regulatory frameworks and implement necessary adjustments to ensure continued compliance. Contribute to the company's zero tolerance in all compliance process and procedures.
Key Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Experience in a compliance or similar role.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of advanced Excel functions and formulas. Strong proficiency in advanced Excel functions and formulas, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and VBA macros.Attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Proactive approach to identifying and addressing compliance issues.Be a driver with full clean manual UK driving licence.
