Maternity Cover (10 months) - Fixed Term Contract

Our client is a firm based in North London. They service a range of clients from various sectors. They are offering accounts preparation, audit, company structure and tax advice. They are recruiting a Compliance Administrator for a 10-month FTC for maternity cover.

Main job purpose

Responsible for providing an efficient, timely and effective support service for the professional team.

Key Responsibilities

1) Client setup, including (but not limited to):

Setting up new clients on CCH (our practice management system), while ensuring all required information has been providedEnsuring that fee earners have correctly completed the Know Your Client and Risk Assessment formsCarrying out Smartsearches for new clientsActivating OneClick (the messaging portal) for clientsSending out welcome emails to clients 2) Ongoing database management, Including (but not limited to):

Updating client information on CCH (subject to the appropriate money laundering checks)Closing 'no longer acting' clients on CCHClient allocation exercisesAdding assignments (jobs) to CCHAd hoc database exercises as and when required 3) Provide a monthly new client report to the Head of Tax

4) Provide company secretarial services for clients using Inform Direct, including:

Company formationsConfirmation StatementsAdministration of any changes (e.g. changes in Directors)Dissolution of companiesGeneral maintenance of the database 5) Provide administrative support for ad hoc tasks as required

6) Follow the firm's procedures at all times, especially anti-money laundering procedures

7) Build a good rapport with colleagues

8) Cover holiday arrangements and peak workloads as required

9) Liaise with staff and partners to ensure a high level of client service at all times

Reporting, relationships & management

1) Manage own workload and assist others in the Operations team

2) Report to Operations Director
