Communications Assistant
Salary: GBP22,000 gross per annum
Base Location: Curdridge, Hampshire - Hybrid
Hours: full-time, 35 hours per week

We are looking for a highly motivated, creative and innovative person to join our talented communications team and help us to engage, inspire and influence people across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. The role will involve working across all areas of communications including digital, media, design and publications.
This role is pivotal to supporting the Trust s Wilder 2030 strategy and you will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of a wide range of tasks across different channels, online and offline, and supporting with creative design and editing.
This job would suit somebody who has existing experience in copywriting and digital media who is looking to build their career in marketing and communications, while also playing a role in supporting the environmental sector during a hugely important time for the Trust and local wildlife.
We are looking for candidates with:
The ability to write engaging and creative copy for a variety of channels and formats.
An understanding of how brands work and what is needed to promote and maintain them.
Excellent organisation skills and good attention to detail.
Experience of working with social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
An understanding of the voluntary sector and knowledge of the Wildlife Trust movement.

This role will be based at our office in Curdridge, however, we are happy to accommodate a hybrid working routine, and discuss a pattern of work which suits the candidate. This role is full time, 35 hours per week. Traditionally, office hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm with an hour lunch break. However, many of our staff work flexibly and we are happy to consider flexible working hours for the right candidate.
