Are you a Commercial Manager with genuine, passionate drive to make a positive difference to our community through innovative commercial strategies?

We are seeking a Commercial Manager to manage our Town Estate, created in 1549 for the benefits of the Town s Citizens. This registered charity is responsible for the town parks, the street markets and other local recreational facilities, together with considerable investments, land holdings and facilities that are leased out for the benefit of the town.

If you are a Commercial Manager with creativity, adaptability and a passion to explore new revenue streams and initiatives this will be an exciting opportunity for you to make a significant impact on this impressive Town Estate who have just received a significant government grant.

Personal Specification Commercial Manager:

An inspiring and effective leader with demonstrable experience of leading diverse teamsExperience of securing funding through grant bids, partnerships etc.Effective communication skills to foster relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholdersProven experience with successful promotion of public eventsEvidence of successful leadership and management of staffGood written and verbal communication skillsExperience of financial and budget managementKey Responsibilities Commercial Manager:

Work with Board of Trustees to develop visionary strategy to enhance the Town Estate s future and fundraising capabilitiesAbility to envision and implement long-term commercial plans aligned with the Town Estate s missionForge and nurture partnerships with businesses, sponsors and stakeholders to amplify Town Estate s future and financial sustainabilityDrive revenue streams through creative initiatives and eventsWork with the Chair of the Board to enable the Trustees to fulfil their duties, legal and other responsibilities for the correct governance of the charity ensuring compliance with charity and company lawEnsure that the Board receives advice, recommendations and information in an effective and timely manner, including attending Board meetings and sub-committee meetings as required
