As Commercial Manager, you ll provide effective commercial management and governance of contracts, projects, bids and frameworks. You ll provide sound commercial and legal advice to support the development of all commercial offerings for our Transport division, working closely with divisional managers, bid managers, and PMs to guarantee the quality and integrity of all commercial activities.

What you ll be doing
Joining a high-performing team at an exciting time of business growth, you ll enjoy a strong degree of autonomy and associated responsibility. Reporting into the Head of Commercial, your responsibilities will include:
Commercial management of bids in line with company processes and governance requirements, from input into proposal drafting and pricing through to negotiation and contracting phases Post Contract Management, including contract change process and participation in project reviews Creation of innovative commercial solutions and process improvement initiatives in support of the Transport division Input into divisional budget, order intake and forecast processes Line management of Commercial Officer and engagement in continuous improvement initiatives Providing Commercial Business Partner style advice and support to the Divisional leadership team
The skills you need
Extensive experience in drafting and negotiating contractual terms and conditions, at both bid stage and post-contract management Strong financial awareness and understanding of internal budgets/costs and external pricing Experience of public sector procurement, government procurement regulations and frameworks
