A high–growth, Manufacturing business based in the Runcorn area has a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Financial Controller who has a strong background in Manufacturing / FMCG sector.

As Commercial FC you will be responsible for the effective operation and management of the Supply chain team. Developing the reporting processes alongside analysing, interpreting and providing timely finance information to the senior leadership team to aid decision making.

As Commercial Financial Controller your key responsibilities will be:

To lead, coach and support the Finance Team through day to day management of their staff, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and controls are adhered toContinually monitor financial performance; specifically conversion costs, material price, waste, obsoletes, Capex. Flags key issues and performance drivers.Analyses cost elements in order to make recommendations to improve costs & performance KPIs.Be the sites Finance expert regarding supply chain data flow and financial controls, ensuring robust processes are in place to prevent compliance issues.Ensures standard product costs and transfer prices are controlled and frequently updatedCollaborate with the wider teams to continuously improve reporting and data accuracyChallenges business partnersLeads the month–end closing and AOP budgeting processActs as the senior point of contact for UK supply chain finance with the external auditor during the year–end audit.
