ARM is delighted to be helping our client with the recruitment of a Contracts Solicitor on a permanent basis, offering hybrid working.

The Contracts Solicitor will provide broad and varied commercial support across the business whilst maintaining a high level of autonomy and managing stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

Advise on a broad range of legal matters including contracts, regulatory and compliance

Provide sound legal advice and support to business divisions relating to corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters

Liaise with external counsel where required

Draft a wide range of legal documents and support materials including standard contact templates for use by the business divisions

Negotiations on a broad range of commercial contracts with counter parties and their lawyers

Provide training to business departments such as commercial and legal considerations and regulatory changes where required

Support legal department in a wide range of initiatives, and improvements

Requirements

Qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales with experience in the field of commercial law and commercial contracts

Previous experience working in a commercial role and negotiating contracts

Previous in-house experience preferable

Excellent drafting and negotiating skills

Strong knowledge of commercial law, and compliance
