A leading defence contractor require a Commercial Contract Manager. Applicants need commercial management expertise ideally within aerospace, defence contracting or outsourced service provision environments.
The Commercial Contract Manager will support both, new bids and develop current agreements with UK and international military customers. This is an exciting time to join the organisation, and the Commercial Manager will interact with senior commercial and engineering stakeholders.
Specific duties of the Commercial Contract Manager include:
Negotiation of T&Cs with new/existing customersIn-flight contract management, negotiation and change managementMitigation of commercial and contractual riskSupport bid, quotation and tendering activitiesReview of commercial contracts, highlighting risk, liabilities and areas to maximise profit
Commercial Contract Manager applicants should meet the following criteria:
Experience of managing commercial contracts through the full development cyclePrevious exposure to; defence, aerospace, engineering services or technology contractsExperience of supporting bids, tenders and new business workCommercial Contract Management qualification - IACCM, CCMAP, CIPS etc. would be desirable
